A little story thingy...

For our task this week we have to continue a part of a story that Carly has already written the first bit of it. Right now I will do the first one(The bit in italics is Carlys bit):

He stared at the monitor; his face was lit up by the light from the screen.    The room was dark, the hum of the machine the most dominant noise in the room. He twisted in his seat trying to find a comfortable position.  The wires prevented him from every finding a comfy spot but still he tried. No luck.  A small beep from the computer focused his attention, it was beginning… 

"YES!" he screamed jumping out of his uncomfortable chair and kicking it, "Finally, I will now be the king of tHE WORLD!!!..." He stumbled over a wire causing it to fall out of its plug in the wall. "WHAT!!!!!!!" The man boomed, "YOU STUPID WIRE! NOOOOO!"

He lunged for the wire and plugged it back in but it was too late, the screen had already gone blank.

The man tried to fix it, he needed this, his life depended on it, but It never worked again. He slowly sat back down in the uncomfortable chair and then he realized what he must do, What was more important then becoming king of the world, he must destroy this chair.
